What's the quickest way to teach a child anything? In song, of course! Music is a natural part of everyone. It creates an atmosphere of interaction, fun and excitement--children are naturally drawn to it. Who doesn't know the ABC alphabet song? Even adults who learned it 30 years ago still remember it to this day. Lyrics put to a catchy tune are infinitely more learnable and teachable than trying to communicate the curriculum without music.

Use the advantage of musical memory to teach your students the lessons you want them to learn and not forget! Include in the song your curriculum's emphasis for that week, pop in the CD, and have the whole class sing and dance along! Now that's learning!

Whether you want your songs set to a familiar tune or music composed from scratch, we have all the tools and skills necessary to make it happen. One proven technique that works wonderfully and encourages the kids' self-creativity is to include blank spaces in the lyrics so that the children can fill them in with their own object, action or name (listen to "Favorite Things" above for an example).
